The Bays Orthopaedic Hip and Knee Surgeon, Mr Parminder Singh recently hosted the ISHA – The Hip Preservation Society’s flagship event in Cape Town, South Africa.
This event brought together arthroscopic and open hip surgeons, and hip preservation and rehabilitation professionals from around the world, to share the latest knowledge and experience in the field of hip preservation surgery and rehabilitation.
Well known for conducting hip arthroscopies, Mr Singh is one of only a few surgeons who are trained to perform this surgery in Australia.
Mr Singh – who is the scientific chairman of ISHA – presented an instructional lecture at the event on a new technique for treating the common hip condition, greater trochanteric pain syndrome, including early results.
Mr Singh is an experienced and accomplished orthopaedic and trauma surgeon, who is well known for his knowledgeable and empathetic approach. He has provided supportive research to the design and developments of new hip replacements and codesigned with world renowned hip surgeons, new instrumentation and implants for hip arthroscopy and joint preservations surgery.
