Mr Ilan Freedman

Mr Ilan Freedman is a Melbourne and International Fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in Direct Anterior minimally-invasive hip replacement and patient-specific 3D-printed instrument partial and total knee replacement.

Mr Freedman also performs knee and hip arthroscopic procedures, such as meniscal and labral repairs, and also treats fractures.

Mr Freedman trained as an Orthopaedic Surgeon in Australia and then received a prestigious scholarship from the European Federation of Orthopaedics and Traumatolgy to undertake
fellowship training at Clinique du Sport in Paris, France with leading international hip surgeon, Dr Frederic Laude.

Mr Freedman also completed a second international fellowship at the internationally renowned Hip Preservation Unit in Warwick, UK where he was involved in the treatment of professional
athletes, such as English Premier League footballers and Olympic athletes.
