Dr Petra Porter is a Gynaecologist at The Bays Hospital with a special interest in gynaecological surgery, general gynaecology, colposcopy and . Petra graduated from Monash University in December 1994 with first class honours. She trained at The Alfred, Traralgon, Moe  and the mission hospital in Ba, Fiji, as an undergraduate and Monash Medical Centre, Peninsula Health ie. Frankston and Rosebud, Launceston and Taunton NHS, U.K., Hospitals in postgraduate years. She completed her specialist training gaining membership of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (RANZCOG) in September 2000.  She completed her fellowship in early 2003 at Taunton NHS, U.K. and Peninsula Health. Petra lives permanently on the Mornington Peninsula and commenced her private practice at The Bays Hospital in 2004 where she provides a broad range of Gynaecological services.
