Dr Owen Hughes
Paediatrician
Dr Hughes completed his training in the UK and at the Royal Children’s Hospital before working as a Specialist Paediatrician in Jersey in the Channel Islands, and now at Frankston Hospital.
He brings his knowledge and experience in managing diverse general paediatric conditions to the Mornington Peninsula, including childhood allergy, newborn care, paediatric diabetes and other chronic and acute conditions.
His Postgraduate Paediatric Training and Masters in Child Health were undertaken at the University of Leeds and Post graduate Certificate in Allergy at the University of Southampton.
He is an Associate member of the Australian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy (ASCIA) who offers assessment and management of suspected childhood allergic diseases such as food allergies, asthma, perennial and seasonal rhinitis and eczema.
Dr Hughes is taking referrals from GPs now.
