Dr Natalie Elphinstone

Dr Natalie Elphinstone is a specialist obstetrician practicing on the Mornington Peninsula. Natalie grew up on a farm in rural Victoria before moving to the city to study medicine.

Natalie graduated from The University of Melbourne in 2005. After working at the Mercy Hospital for Women and the Austin Hospital, she completed her specialist training locally at Frankston Hospital and Monash Medical Centre. Natalie and her family reside locally on the Mornington Peninsula.

Natalie is friendly, approachable and passionate about empowering women. Natalie is committed to delivering the best pregnancy care possible for all her patients. She believes in offering an individualised care plan alongside each patient and their support team.

Natalie loves seeing patients privately at The Bays Hospital and Peninsula Private Hospital, where she can offer a greater level of personalised care. Natalie also plays an active role in teaching and mentoring the next generation of medical students, specialist trainees and obstetric GPs through her public appointment at Frankston Hospital.

When she’s not working, Natalie is kept busy with her four children. Natalie also enjoys sharing birth stories and more on her Instagram. She is currently based at Genesis Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
