Congratulations to Sara Bremner who is our second nurse to receive a scholarship through our Nurse and Midwifery Education Fund, thanks to founding partner, Rotary Mornington.

Sara, a registered nurse from our High Dependency Unit (HDU) was recently successful in applying for support to complete the ‘Transition to Critical Care Nursing’ qualification through the University of Melbourne.

Sara hopes the course will improve her knowledge and skills when caring for patients in the acute hospital setting.

She is looking forward to enhancing her ECG interpretation, respiratory care and haemodynamic assessments, and management and knowledge.

Sara’s manager, Amy Brown said “her willingness to learn and further develop her skills is admirable.”

Well done Sara, we wish you all the best with your studies!

If you would like to help our nurses further their specialist skills, we welcome donations to our Nursing and Midwifery Education Fund.
