Our friendly team of volunteers provide practical assistance and support the Hospital's public relations initiatives. At Hastings we have The Bays Hospital Group Pink Ladies Association that has been in operation for over 40 years. The Pink Ladies tend to flowers, visit residents and participate in fundraising and residents' activities. At the moment, we have vacancies at Hastings to assist the Lifestyle staff with their activity programs. Some of the duties involved include visiting with residents on a 1: 1 basis to read to residents who are no longer able to read, listen to their stories, support residents by being there, offer emotional support, do their shopping, take them to appointments, give a hand massage or simply by putting on some music for them.
