The Bays Aged Care Facility provides community owned, not-for-profit, quality healthcare services to the Mornington Peninsula community. The Fred Bayne Centre provides fully accredited, quality assured, permanent residential care for those in our community requiring 24 hour dedicated nursing care. Comfortable, bright, single and twin room accommodation is set around pleasant communal lounge areas and courtyard gardens. Nutritious home-cooked meals are served in the spacious Dining Room and regular social and occupational therapy activities are held in the Nursing Home’s Activity Room. Our Diversional Therapist, along with staff and volunteers, ensure the residents’ social and emotional contact needs are met daily. Modern equipment to assist in caring for elderly and disabled residents is standard. Visitors are welcome at any time. The Westernport Hostel offers friendly, expert 24-hour care for both high and low-dependency residents. Private one bed and two bed suites are designed to provide a safe, pleasant, comfortable, calm haven for single residents or couples, who appreciate the security of additional care. Emergency assistance call buttons are located in each room. Residents have easy access to all medical services and the visiting services of a physiotherapist, podiatrist, hairdresser and dietitian. The air-conditioned communal areas incorporate the Grand Lounge, the Dining Room, a Library, smaller, more intimate lounge and TV areas, an arts and crafts centre, kitchenette and laundry. Nutritious home-cooked meals are served daily. Visitors are welcome at any time.
