The Registered Nurse Graduate Program 2014

The Bays Hospital Registered Nurse Graduate Program is a 52 week program, 30 hours per/week (4 shifts) commencing in February each year and available to Registered Nurses (RN) and Endorsed Enrolled Nurses (EEN).

5 weeks annual leave is included in the program.

At The Bays Hospital we offer salary packaging up to $16,050 (tax free dollars).

Clinical Program

Clinical rotations include:
2 core Medical/Surgical rotations
1 elective specialty rotation may be available in:
  • Operating Suite
  •  Dialysis
  • Aged Care

Clinical time in our High Dependency Unit will also be available to our Graduate RN's.


Theoretical Program

Hospital Orientation begins the start of your graduate program with supernumerary days in the clinical areas allowing you to ease into the transition of student nurse to beginner practitioner.

Four paid study days tailored to the graduate nurses needs are offered and are supplemented with tutorials and debrief every 2 weeks.

Clinical Support

Clinical support is provided by experienced preceptors and Clinical Nurse Educators.

An information evening for the 2014 Graduate Program will be held on Thursday 27th June 2013 at 6.00p.m in the Seminar Room at The Bays Hospital, Vale Street, Mornington.
