Opened in 1992, The Bays Dialysis Unit was the first dialysis treatment centre on the Peninsula, with patients no longer having to travel to the Melbourne CBD for treatment. Today, the Unit has an eight patient capacity and operates six days a week. Patients visiting the Peninsula area are welcome to transfer their dialysis sessions to the Unit for the duration of their stay.
