The Bays Hospital Group's Board of Directors consists of seven Directors, elected from eligible Members of the Hospital, and two Medical Practitioner representatives. The Board has charge of the management, administration and control of the hospital, aged care facility, its funds and its property. Directors are elected for a period of three years.
Chairman - Mr Adrian Wischer B.Ec., FAICD, AFAIM Mr Wischer is an experienced investor in, and manager of, Australian Small And Medium Sized Enterprises (SME's). He has strong corporate governance skills as Managing Director and CEO of a public company and is a Foundation Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Mr Wickenden is a Certified Practising Accountant, Company Auditor and Principal in the accounting firm of Burke Bond Partners since 1981. Several Directorships and long standing Director and President at Hastings Bush Nursing Hospital prior to merger.
Director - Mr Robert Anderson Mr Anderson is currently the General Manager Group Business Continuity Management, IT Risk and Security with National Australia Bank. He has 25 years experience in Information Technology, Finance and Banking covering both private and public sectors. He is a qualified CPA who combines a strong business orientation with wide experience in Information Technology Management.
Medical Advisory Committee Representative - Dr Graham Cato MBBS Mon. Dr Cato is a highly respected doctor, running his own Medical Practice at Balnarring, Victoria.
Director - Mr Paul Clayton LLB GDLP Mr Clayton has a qualification in law and experience at all levels from shop floor to Board Room (formerly the Vice President Service Centre Operations and Victorian Business Manager - BlueScope Steel).
Mr Featherby conducts his own legal practice at Rosebud. He is a Management consultant, Co-principal of Public Enterprise Solutions, Committee member - Rosebud Community Support and has a Qualification in Law and Economics.
Mrs Belinda Lawson is currently a trustee of John T Reid Charitable Trust, one of the largest charitable trusts in Australia, as well as a member of The Peninsula Hospice Service Women of Action Committee. In addition to work in the charitable sector, broad family investment portfolios are managed and she has Qualifcations in nursing and midwifery.
Dr Renehan is a Member of the Medical Training Review Panel for the Department of Health & Ageing. He also holds a position on the Education and Training of Eye Professionals in the Asia Pacific, is a Member of the Board of Directors RANZCO as Censor in Chief and is currently practicing in his own practice at The Bays Hospital.
A Mediator, Tax Agent and Lawyer, Mr Roberts also has extensive experience in Hospital governance. He conducts his own legal practice in Mornington, Victoria.
